I-40/I-75 Corridor - Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study

TDOT and a consultant team are studying the Interstate 40/Interstate 75 corridor west of Knoxville, from the I-40/I-75 Interchange in Loudon County to the I-640 Interchange just west of downtown. This study will include design work and how to prioritize any recommended improvements in relation to the TDOT 10-Year Project Plan. The goal is to develop a holistic strategy for improving the corridor instead of a series of independent improvements. TDOT staff and its consultants will provide an update of the study and its progress. The alternatives being examined will be discussed along with the screening criteria.
